Arrived in Europe on Sunday. Saw Evan Parker & Limpe Fuchs play in London that evening. The next night, I saw Axel Dorner play in Berlin. So far, so good.

Why am I over here? Good question. Well, for starters, I’m playing a couple of shows with Gordon Grdina’s HARAM. We play NovaraJazz in Italy on June 8th [INFO], and Basel, Switzerland on June 15th [INFO]. 

I’m also be playing a couple of SOLO shows in Berlin; the first is at T-Berlin on June 1st. Also on the bill are Tyson Naylor and Ben Whitehill [INFO]. The next night, June 2nd, I’m playing another solo set at Miss Sophie’s Planet [INFO].

I’m also involved in a couple of other performances at NovaraJazz; the first is on June 9th with Emad Armoush, Tim Gerwing & Liam MacDonald [INFO]. The other is with Chris Kelly & Francois Houle on June 10th [INFO].

On June 19th, Haram returns to Canada to play the Something Else! Festival in Hamilton ON [INFO]. We then head to Montreal to play the Suoni Per Il Popolo festival on June 20th [INFO]. On June 24th we’re playing the Ottawa Jazz Festival [INFO]. Our tour ends with a performance at the Toronto Jazz festival on June 25th [INFO].

I return home on June 26th to play with Tony Wilson’s Broken Merchandise at the Vancouver Jazz Festival [INFO]. On June 27th, I’m with SICK BOSS; also part of the Van Jazz Fest [INFO]. INHABITANTS will play the China Cloud on June 30th. I’ll open the night with a solo set [INFO]. I’m then performing with Lan Tung’s Proliferasian (featuring Xiaofen Min) on July 1st; part of the Jazz Fest’s Canada Day celebrations [INFO]. And finally, HARAM plays David Lam Park with special guest Fredrik Ljungvist, on July 2nd, the final night of the Van Jazz Fest, at 5:15pm [INFO].
